About Us
The iPhone Betting site and discussion forum started out as just a hobby for our group of friends. We are all sports and technology fans. Most of us are also big Apple fanboys so it made sense that we should launch a site that was dedicated to gambling on Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad. Originally the site was just a blog that we each took turns on writing articles for. The original blog proved to be massively successful, which encouraged us to also begin writing about poker and casino apps.
We used to receive hundreds of emails every week from new iPhone owners wondering how they might place a bet or play some Texas Hold'em on their new smartphone. Unfortunately, back in the early days it was not possible to download gambling related apps from the iTunes App Store. We were getting so much correspondence that we thought it would be a good idea to start a tech support forum where iPhone owners could ask questions and get answers from the community. Once again we were blown away by how phonemically successful this discussion board proved to be. Within months we had thousands of members who were regularly interacting and trading advice on the best iOS betting apps.
The biggest question we received was "What is the best..." poker, bookmaker or casino app. Rather than individually replying to e-mails with a list of pros and cons for each app, we thought it would make more sense for use to write detailed and impartial reviews for each of the major players. We broke the apps into 4 separate categories: "Sports Betting", "Horse Racing", "Poker" and "Casinos", which you can see listed in the main menu.
